Samuel Brice Hall is an Atlanta, Georgia-based financial executive who draws upon more than two decades of accounting experience in his role as director of investor relations at Piedmont Private Equity, LLC. An alumnus of the University of North Carolina (UNC), Samuel Brice Hall enjoys following the school's basketball team in his free time.

One of the most prominent UNC basketball alumni in the National Basketball Association (NBA) is Vince Carter. The 42-year-old became only the fifth player in league history to play 21 seasons in the NBA following the 2018-19 season and, although he announced his retirement, it won't happen before he sets a record by becoming the only player to play 22 seasons. Appearing on ESPN's The Jump on June 5, Carter confirmed the 2019-20 season will be his last.

Playing for his eighth team this past season, Carter averaged 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists as a member of the Atlanta Hawks. The eight-time NBA All-Star began his career with the Toronto Raptors and spent six-and-a-half years with the Canadian franchise, during which time he won Rookie of the Year and the 2000 Slam Dunk Contest, the latter of which helped make him a star on a national scale.

He averaged a career-best 27.6 points per game in 2000-01 with the Raptors and now, through 1,481 career regular season games, has averages of 17.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. He ranks 20th all-time in points with 2,5430.
